PhysiAssist runs billing for urology practices: office procedures, drug administration for prostate and bladder cancer, surgery in the ASC, and imaging, urodynamics and in-house lab. We bill every drug by its units and dose schedule, code procedures to the bundling rules, and keep authorizations ahead of each injection.

The basics
Urology billing services manage the revenue cycle of a urology practice: office procedures, drug administration for prostate and bladder cancer, surgery and ASC claims, imaging, urodynamics and in-house lab, payment posting, denials and AR. In urology the drug lines carry a large share of revenue, and a wrong unit count or a lapsed authorization costs the most.
Cystoscopy, prostate biopsy, vasectomy and stent changes, coded to the bundling rules.
Leuprolide, triptorelin, degarelix and BCG billed by unit and dose schedule.
Lithotripsy, ureteroscopy and TURP for the surgeon and the facility.
Ultrasound, urodynamics, post-void residual and in-house urinalysis.

Office, infusion and surgery
A urology practice bills procedures in the office, drugs in the injection room and surgery in the ASC. We bill all three and keep each one matched to the authorization behind it.

Pricing
One rate of 2.8% to 5% of net collections, quoted in writing before you sign. Where you land depends on monthly collections, specialty mix, the scope of services, and your AR backlog and payer mix.
The rate covers medical coding, claim submission, payment posting, denials and AR follow-up. Front desk services, prior authorization, the reporting dashboard, patient statements, credentialing and digital marketing are quoted separately.

Both are billed with J9217 per 7.5 mg: a 22.5 mg three-month dose is 3 units and a 45 mg six-month dose is 6 units, with administration code 96402, diagnosis C61 and JZ when nothing is discarded. Camcevi has its own code, J1952, billed per 1 mg.
Diagnostic cystoscopy (52000) is included when a more extensive cystoscopic procedure is done the same session, such as stent placement or biopsy. We code the most complete procedure and only add what the NCCI rules allow.
BCG is billed per instillation with J9030 and the bladder instillation code 51720, with each treatment in the induction and maintenance schedule documented.
