The basics
Internal medicine billing services manage the revenue cycle of an internal medicine practice: E/M visits, annual wellness visits, chronic care management, remote patient monitoring, transitional care, hospital and nursing facility visits, payment posting, denials and AR. Care management revenue depends on tracking time and readings every month.
Office, telehealth, hospital and nursing facility visits coded to the record.
Clinical staff time tracked each month, with consent and care plan on file.
Device days and treatment management time billed when the thresholds are met.
Annual wellness visits timed to Medicare frequency rules.
