The basics
OB-GYN billing services manage the revenue cycle of an obstetrics and gynecology practice: global maternity packages, deliveries, prenatal and postpartum care, office gynecology visits and procedures, obstetric ultrasound, contraception, payment posting, denials and AR. In OB-GYN, most errors come from billing the package at the wrong time or missing what sits outside it.
Prenatal, delivery and postpartum care in one package, or split when care is shared.
Well-woman visits, problem visits and in-office procedures like colposcopy and biopsy.
Scans by trimester and gestation, with professional and technical components.
IUDs, implants and preventive services billed so eligible patients pay nothing.

Pricing
One rate of 2.8% to 5% of net collections, quoted in writing before you sign. Where you land depends on monthly collections, specialty mix, the scope of services, and your AR backlog and payer mix.
The rate covers medical coding, claim submission, payment posting, denials and AR follow-up. Front desk services, prior authorization, the reporting dashboard, patient statements, credentialing and digital marketing are quoted separately.

Routine prenatal visits, the delivery and routine postpartum care are billed together with one global code after delivery, such as 59400 for a vaginal delivery or 59510 for a cesarean. Partial care uses delivery-only, delivery-and-postpartum or antepartum-only codes.
Each practice bills only the care it gave: antepartum-only codes 59425 or 59426 for 4 or more visits, office E/M codes for 1 to 3 visits, and delivery-only or delivery-and-postpartum codes for the delivering practice.
Yes, when the visit is for a condition outside routine prenatal care, such as a separate illness, and is documented that way. These are billed with an E/M code and the right diagnosis.
By type and gestational age, such as 76801 and 76805 for first and later trimester scans, with add-on codes for additional gestations and the technical and professional components split by who owns the equipment and who reads.
Yes. The insertion or removal procedure is billed with its CPT code and the device with its HCPCS code, with preventive coverage rules applied so eligible patients are not billed.
